What MS Rush is

JFC's competitive program — tryout-based teams U9 to U19

Mississippi Rush is the broader competitive club JFC affiliates with. At JFC, players try out for a Rush team each May; once selected, they train 2× per week with professional staff and travel to 8–12 tournaments per season. Practice and play continue August through May.

Mississippi Rush (U9–U14) covers the younger ages with Jackson, Madison, and Flowood community teams. Mississippi Rush United (U15–U19) is the high-school-age program. ECNL / N1 pathways open at U13.

Mississippi Rush · U9–U14

Younger ages, 7v7 / 9v9 / 11v11

Teams form by community when possible. Premier (A), Elite (B), and sometimes Select (C) tiers within each age group.

  • Jackson teams (U9–U14)
  • Madison teams (U9–U14)
  • Flowood Rush (new division — U9–U12, based at Hartfield Academy)
  • Combined teams across communities may form when numbers warrant.

ECNL / ECNL-RL and N1 National League pathways open at U13.

Mississippi Rush United · U15–U19

High-school-age competitive

U15–U19 boys and girls. Regional travel, college showcase tournaments, and league play for the older teams.

What it costs

Plan for $1,800–$2,400 per player per season

Acceptance · Within 72 hours of offer

$275 intent-to-play fee

Mail the team commitment form and $275 check within 72 hours of being offered a spot. This commits your player to the team for the full August–May season.

Don't let cost be the reason your child doesn't try out

Need-based scholarships help offset participation fees.

Apply by July 20 for U9–U14 teams (decisions by Aug 10); by June 15 for Rush United (U15–U19).

Missed all tryouts?

Email tryouts@mississippirush.com to ask about a mid-year evaluation for possible team placement this season. If you'll attend even one tryout, no email is needed — just come.
