Volunteer coaches, one game per week, and primarily local play at the JFC complex. At U4–U10, opportunities for extra practices to build new skills. At U7–U10, opportunity to play more after the season ends with a Rec-Plus team.
Spots are earned each May. Professional coaches, Mississippi Rush affiliation, 8–10 tournaments per year. Opportunities for increasingly competitive play as you improve and age.

Competitive soccer · Ages 9–19 · Tryouts each May
JFC's competitive program through Mississippi Rush and Mississippi Rush United. Professional coach training 2-3× per week, 8–10 tournaments per year for U9-U12. For U13+ this includes USYS State Cup Championships, N1 and national league pathways, ECNL and ECNL-RL league play and other national and regional competitions. Players have gone on to play college soccer and beyond. Need-based scholarships available.

Recreational registration opens roughly 90 days before each season starts — both Fall and Spring. A late fee applies in the final week before season start. Mississippi Rush Competitive tryouts are held each May for the August–May seasonal year.
Start with Micro Soccer (Ages 4–5) or Recreational (Ages 6+). All our rec programs are welcoming to new players, with parent volunteer coaches and JFC pro-coach training built in.
Yes, for recreational, Rec-Plus, and competitive. Need-based scholarship applications are due by July 20 for MS Rush players; rec scholarships are handled at registration.
If they've played a few seasons and want more, talk to your child's current coach or any JFC staff coach. May tryouts are open to all — there's no commitment to attend.
